Asian Modern Bath

This bathroom was designed for a Buddhist who, though born and raised in the U.S., spent significant time traveling in Japan. He came to love the design aesthetic and traditions of Japan, especially the soaking tub known as an ofuro. This tub is made from Port Orford cedar, a common substitute from the same family, for traditional Hinoki.
